I had to uninstall the trial edition of Shark Modem because my corporate policy blocks the serial port connection; therefore, render Shark Modem useless. Unfortunately, after trying to uninstall the Shark Modem icon remains in my applications folder on my 8700C. When I go back into the Application Loader there are no applications listed. I then tried to reinstall Shark Modem (via Application Loader) and repeated the uninstall process. The icon remains and when I click the icon the application still tries to load. Any ideas how I can permanently uninstall Shark Modem from my 8700?

Did you do a hard reset after you uninstalled?

Also take a look in the Modules . . . you might have additional application data there relating to Shark Modem.

I believe the module is simply titled SharkModem or something to that affect.

I had not reset (hard or soft) after the install...just tried and no change. The application is not listed in Application Loader, but runs fine from my applications. Any other ideas?

Just checked the applications area under settings and realized that you can now delete applications directly from the BB (I'm used to 7250's)...anyhow, simply clicked delete and it's now gone.
