Default Bluetooth Icon Missing

Please Login to Remove!

I just upgraded my Cingular 7290 to 4.0 and now my Bluetooth Icon is missing and I can't pair my headset.

Any ideas?

Dave

Go back to the beginning; Settings / Options / Bluetooth and enable the BT. Then set the headset into discovery mode and re-add it.

Once it is added properly, the BT icon will reappear.

Just a comment on this. I have had the same problem. But in the bluetooth settings, I was unable to re-enable bluetooth. I had the option on the menu, but it didn't do anything.

I had to remove the battery. BT icon was still missing, but then I could enable it from the settings menu. The once a paired a device, the icon returned.

Well heck....I've tried all of the above and I still don't have the icon. Any other suggestions?

Update: The missing bluetooth icon was only missing in the T-mobile Zen theme. Once I switched from that theme, my bluetooth icon was back.
