| Cant' Send Mail - Transaction Error - decryption error Please Login to Remove! I have a Verizon Wireless 6750 using Desktop Redirector and Outlook 2003.
I upgraded to 4.0, and it worked fine for several weeks.
On Monday, Desktop Manager told me to regenerate an encryption key. I did so, and since then, I cannot send email from the Blackberry. I get the "Transaction Error - decryption error".
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the desktop software, wiping the Blackberry, etc. No success.
I'm now trying to use dbclean.exe, without success. I'd like some (more) information from those of you that have been able to resolve the problem with dbclean.
I've put dbclean into Windows 2000 compatability mode and turned off cached exchange mode in Outlook. DBClean runs without errors. When the program asks whether I want to proceed, I respond "y" and it appears to run, but does not deliver any kind of success message - it just dumps me back to the dos prompt. Is this normal?
After running dbclean nothing seems to have changed. I reboot and start desktop manager. It does not tell me to generate a new key. All of the redirector statistics are still there. Am I correct in assuming that this means that dbclean did not work properly?
Finally, is there a different dbclean for each version of the desktop software? The copy I downloaded from the net makes reference to version 1.5 in its warning message.
Thanks in advance for any ideas/comments |
