Ok, I am new BB 7290 user. What I wanted to ask is is it possible to make the backlight turn on when a message/sms is recieved out of the holstier? Also, can I make a new message/sms appear with a notification like a missed call where it pops up a box and says on new message/sms?

Search for a download "BBLight" which may help you with the backlighting. Can;t help you with the other question.

I am already using BBLight and it doesn't seem to do that. I though it would,. Am I missing an option or something?
