Default !!! Big Trap Mobistar (belgium) Sets For It's Customers

Please Login to Remove!

I'm a new user of Belgian Mobistar Blackberry Service. When I received the first bill last week, I found out that every email I received abroad costed 1.8555 Euro. Mobistar told me that the minimum GPRS access for roaming abroad is 100Kbytes. So even the email is less than 10Kbytes, the cost will be calculated as the amount of 100Kbytes. Besides, no matter where you are in the world, the price is the same. I've been to Netherlands, Germany, USA and China. Every email costs me 1.8555.

It's really terrible.

That is really really nasty. Vodafone charge GBP 10 per MB roaming that I thought was bad - but they don't set a minimum download.

With that fee structure I wouldn't have thought that anyone would use a BB roaming on Mobistar?

in Canada, we get charged about 10KB at 0.05/KB per message. You got ripped off, friend.. and i thought that we had it bad..

i'd fight that bill as much as you can.. but basically, if the price is that high, international roaming isn't an option! good luck.
