Default No PIN but BBMessenger OK?

Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone,

Just have a quick question - is it possible for an IT policy to allow BB Messenger (based on PIN messages) to be used, but not allow PIN messages to be sent?

The option 'Compose PIN' Isn't there but BlackBerry messenger works fine.. how does this work?

Yes. There are two seperate policies. One that restricts PIN messages, and one that restricts BB Messanger. You would think the restricting PIN messaging would in effect break BB Messanger, but it only removes the Compose PIN option. This is an oversight on RIMs part in my opinion.

Remember, please try searching first!

Need a screenshot? ... Like JavaLoader?
Try using BBscreen .....Use JL_Cmder!
or BBScreenShooter!
