You know how sometimes when you're on your 900mhz or 1.8ghz cordless phones in your house that you occasionally pick up some interference from another party, maybe a neighbor or something? I know this doesn't happen much anymore, but it used to be much more prevalent.

Anyway, my question is: given the way cellular technology works, is this possible on a cell phone? I don't think I've ever experienced it before, but my sister swears it happened to her yesterday, where she could hear someone else.
