Default Cannot load apps via desktop

Please Login to Remove!

(Searched several terms, no luck)

When trying to load 3rd party apps via the desktop, I get an error after selecting the file to load on the PC:

Application Loader - > Next -> Add -> (File Open) -> Splashid.alx

"No Additional applications designed for your device were found"

I have uninstalled (per instructions here) the desktop application and reloaded. I'm trying to load SplashID, I also have a license for minisafe and it gives the same error.

Any clues?

BB 8703 (Verizon)

This happened after I switched to the 8703 from my 7250. (where these apps worked just fine)

It has nothing to do with Desktop Manager. No need to reinstall it. You need to download and install the HANDHELD O/S for the 8703. It should be available from the Verizon web site. Once that is installed, you should be able to load your third party applications.

Thanks! I actually searched using that complete error message and after following a few links, found exactly what I needed. It's loading now.

I'll forward the info to the folks at SplashData so they are aware. They had no idea why their app wouldn't load.
