I think I miss a call while surfing on the net on my bb browser. Any1 know a way to let my phone ring while I'm surfing on the internet? Thx in advance.

you can be in an active data session (browsing the internet) and receive a call with no problems....you can not be on call while being in a data session though...

My phone always rings when I'm surfing the net. I only miss the call if I choose to ignore it.

I have noticed that when I used my 7100i and was on the web and someone called while a page was loading I would miss the call! If I was not loading a page when the call came in the call would come through. I hope that makes sence to you. I guess the phone was already busy pulling data so it wouldnt pull the call through.
ON my 8100 though i get the calls not matter what even when pulling data from the web.
Next time please let us know what BB you are using and the OS so we can better address your issue. Thanks

mythumbshurt: yup...i just tested while my landline phone..while my 7130c was loading a page...my landline phone only once...then pause for like more than 5 seconds...then my 7130c finally rang...but my landline already was redirected to the voicemail.

wtf...y can rim make a phone to make phone call and surf the net all at once!

another quirk i found just now...when it is plug into charger...and answering phone..i can't hear the other person..i only hear echo...wtf. i dont know if it is the charger or the phone...but i read somewhere on 7100 forum that they experience echo with their phone.

now it is happening to my 7130c phone...wtf is going on??? rim is giving us defective product?

Echo can and will happen in a poor coverage area. It is not a plot to ruin you phone experience

This isn't a limitation of the BlackBerry. This is a limitation of wireless networks here in the US. They do not allow for the simultaneous use of voice and data. 3G networks, which are just beginning to be rolled out here, are required for this.

I have never had troubles talking on my BB while it is plugged in charging. It may have been the coverage or just the phone that one time. No clue why it would have had an echo.
