Hello, I'm new to BB and the forums here...Just picked up a 8703e from verizon, so far I love it. Just wondering about email notification, there doesn't seem to be any alert...just the little envelope in the top left and the led flashes red. I turned on the email alert to loud in settings, is there something I'm missing here?

You can adjust this under Profiles. There, one profile will have (Active) to the right of its name. Hit [Enter] to view the details of the profile, go down to Messages and hit [Enter] again. There, you can set the device's behavior - to use Tone, Vibrate, or Both - in and out of the holster.
