Hello all,

I've been reading a lot of the threads on this forum regarding outlook subfolders. I have a ton of outlook subfolders and rules that automatically redirect emails to these subfolders. I don't want to change my rules, but I cannot receive any of my emails in subfolders on my BB. I have a BB 7290 BPRS v4.10.309.

I read a lot of threads that said go into the email list, select email options, then redirect. I don't seem to have an "email option" option and cannot find the redirect option. The IT people (2) at my company have no idea what to do (except getting rid of all my rules).

First, are you using BES or BIS? If BES, it can be set on the BES Server by the IT staff. If they don't know that, then umm.. you may need new IT guys

I am assuming your connected to BES. Because if your not, your out of luck. Go to Messages > Options > Email Settings. Press the scroll wheel and select Folder Redirection. Check any additional folders you want to sync incoming messages from.

How do I figure that out (BES vs. BIS)?

You would know that from how your e-mail access was setup. Did you set the BB new out of the box, or did your IT people? If they set it up, it is likely going to be BES, and they would know for sure.

BIS = Blackberry Internet Service
BES = Blackberry Enterprise Server

We do not use BES. IT guy says it is too expensive. How much does BES cost?

It depends on how many Blackberry's you have.. Right now, my company has 5, so we got a free copy of BES Express(?), with one license, and purchased 4 additional licenses for our other Blackberry's at $99.00 each.

If you do not have many Blackberry's, let your IT department know about this version since they may not have heard about it yet.
