I have my bb setup for my hotmail account. I find that their can be a delay up to 10 min. Is the bb email better? my work email is instant and would like to have a personal account as fast.

much thanks to all

xxx.blackberry.net email addresses are MUCH quicker than BIS polling IMO, my bb email address works much quicker than anything else (except BES)

Absolutely correct. The BIS polls (most) email accounts every 15 minutes so depending on the time at which your email is sent it could take up to that long for it to reach your handheld.

The ...blackberry.net accounts deliver in realtime to the device; I usually receive emails to that address within a few seconds.
