Hi everybody,

thank you for having me on your forum. I just bought a 7230 today and have dl'd the .pdf file for the user guide. I was looking for the backlight option and it is not there in my options/keyboard section. I was wanting to change my backlight to where itcomes on at any push of a button. Is that even possible?

Any help would be nice.

'friad not...not for that particular model. You may try BBLight, a 3rd party application, as it may provide you that functionality.

There is a useful utility called BBLight which gives you some control over the backlight settings.

Ok, I've got the desktop, but I can't figure out how to download bblight onto my handset. help!!!!

Open Desktop manager (assuming it's installed on your desktop computer) and click Application Loader. If BB light isn't on the program list, hit "Add" and browse to wherever it is on your desktop.

Things should go smoothly after that. If it doesn't work out, you might opt for the over-the-air download mentioned in the BBLight post above.

I recommend OTA installs. A lot less hassle as app loader will complain if you don't have the handheld software installed.
