Default Can Nokia digital pens talk to Blackberrys?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
Can the Nokia SU-27W digital pen trasmit to blackberry's via bluetooth?
I've enquired and apparently the 8707 have the necessary features of DUN and POP to enable data transfer but has anyone actually tried it as I get, 'we don't support it from vodaphone' and can't get anything sensible from Nokia.

Cheers in advance
Pete

Bluetooth on BBs can only be used for a BT headset, wireless synching, and some bluetooth keyboards. It's not capable of data transfer like files.

I can't speak for the 8100, but on the 8700 using bluetooth to connect to GPS, all it can do is use the GPS as a "Bluetooth Headset". It can't even transfer over the phonebook to the GPS like many Nokia models are capable of.

There is a solution available to use digital pens via BT with BBs, but you need special software. I know that ISEC7 GmbH was/is working on such a solution. Contact them and maybe they can help you.
