Default Syncing E-mail to Corporate BES Server but Calendar to Personal Outlook

Please Login to Remove!

I have corporate e-mail through a BES server. I am wondering if there is a way for me to have either:

1) two calendars/contact lists on my blackberry (one via BES server, and one from home computer via USB sync)

OR

2) have the BES e-mail function work, and have only a single calendar/contact list, but have it sync to my home computer -- and NOT ever get loaded onto the BES server.

The idea is that I need to have e-mail from work, but do not want to put my personal calendar & contacts on a work computer... But I want them to be available on the blackberry (I do not need the cal/contacts to sync wirelessly).

OR, an alternative might be to use a 3rd party software program to run two calendars (ie: one via Blackberry's internal system, and the other as a separate software program)?

Thanks for your help!

There's not really a good way to do this that I know of. I haven't tried this first hand but IIRC people who have set up sync with two PC's -- on work, one personal -- end up getting their service books messed up after syncing with the personal PC. This doesn't get corrected and thus no email is delivered or can be sent via the BB until it is once again synced with the work PC.

Best bet is two BB's especially if your concern is keeping work and personal items truly separate. I wouldn't consider anything on a company owned and BES-connected BB to be private anyway.

You may try a third pary for that. takeshi is correct, nothing is private on a corporate server
