If you are storing passwords, use the Password Keeper feature of BlackBerryOS 4.0. That should solve your needs.

A more powerful application, if you need one, is Dynoplex eSafe (Google "dynoplex esafe")

You cannot make individual items private. If you have access to the BlackBerry, then you have access to everything. That is of course assuming that you have the password for the BlackBerry, or there is not one set up on it.

password keeping is an option when installing 4.0. Open up the apploader and make sure it is checked.

If you do not have it in your App Loader, just download BlackBerryOS 4.0 from the "RIM Software" forum, and install it. You'll get the Password Keeper option.

Some BlackBerries such as Verizon 7250 do not include it by default, so you have to download OS 4.0 from the website, and install it, to gain access to the missing applications included with OS 4.0.

Everything worked for me, only thing I lost was VeriChat and eFile.

Thanks for the tip.
