has anyone had the problem when you delete a mail from the blackberry and it says that it has deleted, but it is still there and you dont seem to be able to remove it

Do you mean it is still on the handlheld even though it says it was deleted?

Try resetting the device by removing the battery (the BB version of "restart your PC"

You can try using the Backup and Restore tool, in the advanced button, you can backup just the messages database to your PC. Then try restoring the database. Sometimes it get's a bit corrupted and just a backup/restore of the database will fix it. If not, and since you have a backup, highlight the messages database on the BlackBerry and press the clear button, then restore the database from the backup of it you just made.
