Default Accessing Web Pages with Blackberry 7520

Please Login to Remove!

I am an complete newcomer to the Blackberry world. I'm hoping some of you can help me. In attempting to access a web page, I get the following message: "Joust Outliner. Your browser does not support Java Script"

Can anything be done to allow access?

Thanks very much!

First I belive it would be beneficial to upgrade to Blackberry OS 4 if you haven't already. here is the link
Software Downloads for Nextel!
try that first and see if that helps.

It is my understanding that all 7520's supplied by Nextel come with 4.0 preinstalled. So that is probably not his problem....

If you are trying to access a non WAP webpage with the NOL browser, I would get and install the evalutation version of Reqwireless WebViewer and try that..... That should allow you to view HTML webpages with no problems....

Cool

I can guarantee that's not the problem.

I have the same issues - it's just the limitations of the NOL browser at the present time.

For more info, though, go check out some of the posts about "html for nextel." I imagine this will impact the ability to view javascripts...

Also - go to Browser -> Options -> Browser Configuration and make sure "Support Javascript," and Allow Javascript Popups" are both selected.
