Default Reply to problems AGAIN... HELP PLEASE

Please Login to Remove!

I have an 8700 series and am on Cingular. I need to be able to switch my REPLY TO email address on the fly. I cannot get BBReply to work (i think b/c the wex clint is version 2.x) nor PDReplyasnew to work (it just does nothing..)

I have a feeling it has something to do with the the REPLY TO box blank on the web client, which it will not allow me to do.

Can anyone help me? I know this has been discussed to death and I have read all the forums but cannot get anything to work.

thanks

Default ok, I figure it out....

first download and install PD Reply Now from crossriversystems.

When you have an email OPEN (not when you hit "reply") in the native BlackBerry email program, you'll see reply as new on the menu. When you select that, it will open a reply and you can scroll up and set the account to use for sending. This will allow you to send from any email accounts you have set up in the web client.

If you need to set up email accounts that you cannot set-up through the web client, you can set-up any POP accessible account (gmail, yahoo, whatever) and set the blackberry web client to check those. In the blackbery web client, where the box asks for the email address you can put in any email address you like, it does not have to be the same as the ID. that will become the "reply to address" for that account. (I set up gmail accounts wirth names similar to the real email address so when they come up in the "Reply to as new" menu on the blackberry, I know which is which. I also forwarded the "dummy" emails to the real email addresses just in case anyone ever sends stuff there)

It works!
