Default Blackberry Messenger - Accepting a Contact

Please Login to Remove!

Colleagues,
I have a Verizon 7250 and do not have the option to click the track wheel and accept a new contact to my blackberry messenger list.
Any suggestions?

I should mention all my other contacts are Nextel 7520 users who were able to accept me.

BIS. Individual user. The people who accept me so far were on a corporate server.

I received an e-mail.

Do you have Messenger on your phone? If so, go to the actual messenger application and view pending contacts and try to accept..

Thank you for your efforts.

I do have messenger but it does not give me the option to accept. My contact is listed as pending as I am on that person's device. I guess we are not able to "authorize" the other person. It is my guess that there is a step I am missing.

when you see the person in your pending contacts list, you scroll over that person, make sure that they are highlighted and then click the trackwheel and accept is there..
if it's not, then you need to delete messenger and reinstall..
