Getting duplicate emails on the Verizon 8703e
I am setting up my sisters brand new 8703e BB on the verizon plan. I set up her pop accounts and hotmail and verizon push account as well. all 3 started to work fine. I should mention that I know Hotmail may not work because you need the plus account, but we tried it anyway. The 3 emails seemed to work fine, including hotmail... but then we noticed that when she deleted the emails from handheld only, those emails kept coming back, and then later would come again after she deleted them again. This happened on both the hotmail and the optonline pop account.
I have searched in the forum and found many topics relating to the duplicate emails and that it seems to be a common thing. I have not found a resolution.
I should also mention I tried to duplicate this on my Tmobile 7290 BB and the same thing happened. I never had ths problem because I forward from my pop accounts to my BB push email, this always worked fine. But to duplicate her problem, I created a new email that would access the pop server I would delete mail from handheld and the email would come back again. I then deleted it from the server using the web interface and yet it still came back. So this led me to believe this is on the BIS end. Can anybody help?
PS. she doenst use outlook or anything, just the optonline and hotmail webmail.

Verizon appears to be having some email problems today. Where are you located? I believe Massachusetts and Delaware are impacted today.
Hmm, I remember having the same problem about a year ago with my old 7100.
I'm jogging my mind trying to figure out how I eventually corrected it.
i don't get this type of problem.
