Default Do I Need to Update Service Book?

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 7130e, using BIS on Verizon for about a month. I have been working with a VZW tech since yesterday on a problem with email delivery.

While talking with her yesterday she kept talking about resending the Service Book but couldn't make it happen. Now that it appears the service is back up and running I'm wondering if I need to do the update myself.

As a relative newcomer to BB and BIS, can someone explain what the Service Book does, do I need to resend it from the Blackberry BIS site, and if so, is this something I should do on a regular basis?

Thanks,

David

It never hurts to resend your service books. You need to log into your BIS site and there will be an option to resend your service books. You could also go to Options/Advanced Options/Host Routing Table/Click the Thumbwheel and Select Register.
