I just received a 7290 BB that i purchased on Ebay. I know how to go about wiping it and reloading the latest software for it. Can i use the same desktop mgr as for my 7230? I was gonna ask about the IT policy i noticed on it but remembered the current thread and the method there! I know newbie question I just wanna be certain.

You should be able to use the sme DM. The latest version is 4.2. utit might be best to check the RIM site to see which versions should work with which BB.
