Default GMail Sent Items Help Needed

Please Login to Remove!

Hi everyone,

I have configured GMail on my BIS and love the way incoming messages get pushed to my BlackBerry. I also have GMail POP and SMTP configured on my Outlook Express. There seems to be a problem which is bothering me. Whenever I send a message using GMail's account from Outlook Express on my PC, the Sent Item is pushed to my BB. Is there a way of stopping Sent Items from being pushed to the BB, and having Push enabled only for incoming messages? TIA,

Alan

I suggest going to the BIS and setting up a filter for your gmail account. You want to filter From: [email address] so it does not forward to your BB.

Wow,

That was both quick and precise. Problem solved in a very simple manner. So simple and yet I did not even think about it! Many thanks!

Your carrier's BlackBerry website, where you set up your account initially. For example, Sprint's is BlackBerry Internet Service (haha, the software automatically changed it to have the title. But you can try carriername.bb.com or something similar.)
