Default Blackberry turns off; won't turn on

My 8700 just turned off and I can't get it to come back. I have pulled the battery out, used the on button several times and nothing. What to do?

Cry.

But seriously, from what you have tried already (assuming the battery is charged and holding a charge), it sounds like you may have a hardware issue. Try calling your carriers tech support and see what they suggest, sounds like you may need repairs or a new unit.

When you first put the battery in, do you atleast get the red LED light turning on? I think if there's no OS on the device, you'll still get the red LED after putting the battery in. But if there's a hardware issue mentioned above, then a red LED won't help anything.
