Question HELP!!!Upgrading 4.0- Cingular or Rogers?

Upgrading 4.0- Cingular or Rogers?
Hi was just wondering i have a cingular blackberry but i got it unlocked and i want to upgrade to OS 4.0 but i am jus twondering should i use Rogers or Cingulars OS 4.0 i am currently using Rogers , will it matter which one i use or will it screw it up if i use the wrong OS 4.0

Rogers currently has v4.0.0.272
cingular has v4.0.0.220

will it affect my blackberry if i use the rogers one since i'm using rogers as my service

No it doesn't matter. If you want to read more in detail on this try searching for upgrade as this has been asked many times before.

go with the latest version. search for 'vendor.xml' on this forum to figure out the steps necessary to upgrade cross-provider. they are the same OEM OS, from provider to provider. some, such as TMO, decide to add a theme, or a ringtone, but aside from that, they are the same core OS.
