Hi everyone !

I am a newbie and have searched the site and there is so much content I may have missed how to do this. I also checked my manual and other help sources but was unable to find my answer. I have been up and down the track wheel and into every option that I can find and still no resolution.

When I receive a message and wish to a reply, is there a way to NOT include the original message and all the associate garbage that goes with it? I assume that I am using up some of my data package when this happens. Some messages that are part of an ongoing discussion get to be huge !!
I have a new 7250 BB with 4.1 O.S. I guess I could always create a new message from scratch rather than replying, but that seems to defeat the purpose and the convenience of hitting the reply button !!

reply, then "delete original text"

Just for clarity, the above poster is referring to clicking inside the reply message and selecting "Delete Original Text" from the menu.

I will have to remember to check the options by pressing the wheel in different areas.

It's like the right button on the mouse in Windows, you forget sometimes there are all sorts of functions there !!
