Default Security Feature I Want - 11-03-2006, 11:55 PM

I think it would be cool if I could have a Bluetooth password protection system. Let me explain, I like the idea of a password but don't like the idea of having to punch it in everytime I want to do something. So, I would like to carry around a BT device, on a keychain or something, that keeps the BB open. When the BT device is out of range of the BB, the BB locks and would require a password. Obviously someone could take the BT device too but....it would just be cool.

Having to put in a PW all the time is our #1 complaint, but a requirement. Anything that would make it simpler (we require, by policy, a 8 character PW, with at least 1 number and letter) would be great. Interesting idea.

I believe the smart card reader will do what you want..

works via bluetooth and automatically locks the bb when you move out of range iirc.
