Please Login to Remove!

first off, i want to say this is a great forum.

im currently using a MotoRAZR with a MEdia Max 200 Bundle(Unlimited DATA & 200 TEXT). i was thinking about buying a brand new BB8700C and swapping my sim over. questions is, will i have to upgrade my media plan to a BB plan or can i still use the media plan on the BB? thanks

The Blackberry will not work with any Media plan. You must purchase a BB Data Plan. No BB Data Plan = No Internet and No Email.

If you will be using the BB on BES, get the BES/BIS Unlimited-Which is $44.99/month, and get the messaging started (200 txt msg) for $4.99. If you're only using BIS, get the BIS Unlimited for $29.99/month and the same txt msg plan as above. Both of the BB data plans give you unlimited web,PIN's,emails and IM's (on googletalk,etc.).

I have the 8700c with unlimited BES and the 200 txt msg plan, and I love it.

Wirelessly posted (blackberry 8700c: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

I have the 8700c with unlimited bis and also love it. What I did for text messages was call and ask for an old 1000 minute plan for 10 dollars. Spoke to a manager and they gave it to me. Main reason why they give it to you is because the new text plans come with media net, and those will not work. So if you want more then 200 your forced to buy the 3000 for 20 bucks.
