ok so i just got my new 8700g in the mail and i called to activate service which they told me was already activated, so that was nice. However, when i turned it on and tried to turn the wireless on, it tells me to insert sim card, however, it is already inserted. I tried taking it out and putting it back in but it keeps telling me to insert sim card. Im i just missing something incredibly simple?

Welcome to the Forum!

Your not an idiot, as you were honest enough to ask for help.

My wife did the very same thing with hers... and we got a lot of laughs out of it. After all it IS about the humor.

Cheers!
