Default How to turn off "Sent from my BB" tag on email

Please Login to Remove!

Newby question, but I tried doing a search and can't find this. Every email I send from my new 8700r has a message informing recipients that it is sent from my Blackberry. How do I turn this off?

You have to go to your BIS and edit your signature. If you're using BES, I'm not sure.

Default BES or BIS

Are you on a BES or BIS? It depends which you are on as to how you change it. If you are on BES using the Desktop Manager then simply go to the Redirector Settings and change it there or if your BES is new enough you can do it wirelessly under Options -> Email Settings on your handheld. If you are on BIS you need to do it through the BIS portal for your service provider. I hope this helps.

You might not have known what terms to search for...most of the time, the question involves your "Blackberry Signature".

A quick search using those terms yielded this:

Hope that helps! The above answers should suit you quite well, too.

Welcome to the forums.
