Anyone having trouble displaying tnsgroup.mobi? I upgraded my Tour to 230 and the page downloads 19k and then says it has a rendering error. I really liked that page for finding favorites.

Thanks!

What problem are you having. There are no known issues with the site. I recently cleaned up the code to render better on a curve. As I have a 8900 I tend to design to that bias of 480px wide. There shouldn't be any issues on the Tour.

The site is back rendering fine again the last few days. I don't know why, but until then I continuously got that message. Didn't mess with my phone either. BTW, I was able to get to the sub pages such as tnsgroup.mobi/news.htm at that time.

The first time I got through it brought up a full radar display on the home page. Now it's back to normal.

Anyway, working fine now. Thanks!

Dashland is an actual mobile site that reviews the best mobile sites for smartphones. Unlike this list, you can navigate it on your smartphone.

Glad it is working for you. Tell your friends. While I will continue to make sure the site is free, seeing my traffic increase is all the thanks I want.

The Australian BlackBerry Forums (BlackBerry Browser-friendly link):
BlackBerry Forums

They're not super-active (especially compared to these forums), but it's nice to be able to chat primarily to people from my own country about BlackBerry-related issues from time-to-time...

I think it's very much a matter of opinion, and I'm probably an outlier. But, here's what I like:

- loads fast

- simple and uncluttered

- pictures when necessary but not pictures for the sake of pictures; I'd rather read

As an example, I like the Wall Street Journal Online mobile web site on the blackberry.

Also, if you provide an RSS feed or links to your content are going to show up on Twitter or something like that, make the links redirect to mobile content when accessed from a mobile device.

Awsome point! The company I work for is really looking hard at this becuase we deal with a lot of outside sales and we would like very much for BB users to have an outlet on the road for quoting. What are those apps called when it is just a link to the website. Like TMZ has one where you download it and it just brings you directly to the mobile site?

Lamebook.com is a pretty funny site. Basically it makes fun out of people who post too much information as their status updates... or people who upload totally inappropriate pictures. Enjoy! Oh, I also enjoy peopleofwalmart.com.... it's good for a few laughs :p

Assuming that a BlackBerry is the first choice for a sales person to use while on the road for email and what not, what do you think is the second choice? Palm pre,Iphone,Android,BlackJack??? Anyone?

ummmm I'd try posting this in a different thread. This has nothing to do with the "Your favorite mobile sites" thread..... Post it where a tech might actually see it... or create your own.
