Default I've tried a bunch of Jabber clients and I've had no luck.

I'm currently on my company's BES with MDS (of course) and it's good, but I have certain programs that just will not connect. I can't use the wap.cingular configuration because I'm on prepay and it charges me up the wahzoo. Is there a way to get Java apps to connect through the MDS? Also, the main reason is because I'm trying to get on my intranet jabber server, which I was able to do with Web Messenger (and I'm not paying $35 a year for an open source program). Anyone have any ideas?

I use Jabber with IM+ works great! If you want something free an cheap then you get what you pay for. IM+ is worth every penny.

I tried it, but with no luck. it just says Connecting to Jabber...then nothing.
