Default Syncing Palm Pilot and Rim on same machine

I am using Palm Pilot for my main Contact Manager. Of course I sync daily. If I hook up my BB to the computer and sync to download software, will I have conflicts having 2 devices on the same machine?

I am able to sync a Palm TungstenE and a 7290 with Outlook on the same machine - no issues. I sync the palm first and any new appointments will appear on the BB. I have to sync to reconcile the contacts, tasks and memos.

I am connected to a BES.

I used to sync my Blackberry and my Kyocera 7135 Palm Phone every day. I just made changes in my Blackberry, sync'd it, then sync'd the Palm. Worked like a charm

The only thing you need to do is make Microsoft Outlook your primary PIM. You'll have to configure your HotSync to synchronize to Outlook instead of Palm Desktop.

Then Outlook can be a synchronization hub for both your Palm and BB.

It's funny that Intellisync makes the sync software for both the Palm and the BlackBerry, but it sometimes causes problems when trying to do both on the same computer.
