Default How do you uninstall BlackBerry Maps?? - 11-19-2006, 11:28 AM
I tried it but it seems more like a US thing than Canada. I would like some help on how to remove it. Thanks in advance

My problem is the between my ears......

Go to Options >>> Advanced Options >>> Applications

Click on LBS (BlackBerry Maps) then delete

it is not in the Options >> Advanced Options >> Appliccations menu

i tried deleting the lbs but the application still did not delete from BB, and the icon was still on the screen as well

No clue... If you deleted it and did a reboot it should be gone....

EDIT: Did you pull battery and put it right back in? If so, try leaving it out for about 30 sec to clear out the memory...

One last option....

Try going into Modules from the same area... Once there delete all that say net_rim_bb_lbs

there are 4 of them

net_rim_bb_lbs
net_rim_bb_lbs_api
net_rim_bb_lbs_int
net_rim_bb_lbs_res

Delete them one by one then do a hard reboot
