Default Free International Long Distance?

Please Login to Remove!

Really, it sounds too good to be true, like a gimmick or a scam, but it actually makes sense (and they actually make money). The way they make money is they get paid on an inter-phone company deal at a wholesale rate for carrying your call which is more than it costs them to route your call overseas on VoIP (think Skype on Vonage). It's real, try it and enjoy.

To call 50+ countries unlimited and for free just use this access number: 1-712-858-8883

This is an Iowa number and all you'll pay is long distance to Iowa (free with most cell plans).

Do you get any links so we can verify / check it before we dial the phone number?

Here's a link:

ABC News: Free International Calls! Just Dial ... Iowa

There was also a story in the NY Times. I'm surprised this isn't HUGE on Digg. Digg it here:

digg - Free international call - Cheap international long distance call

great. thanks. I am going to try it using my wife's TMO-To-Go. I just want to play safe, and ensure they do not do any charge-back to my post-paid cell phone number. hee hee

If it's too good to be true.. It usually is.
And most scams always start with "It's almost too good to be true!" line..

I wouldnt call that number for any reason.

I guess most will end up with 983742$ extra on their next bill.

I thought they would want you to listen few ads on the phone then they would connect to you.

By anyway, I will give a try using a pre-paid sim card. They can charge me but I won't be paying to them

That's what they said about electricity, the auto mobile, and painless dentistry. Don't be blinded be your own ignorance. It's a great service and it's a great business model. They actually make money giving away free calls.

I did not get a chance to try.

If I use my TMO to-go sim card to call that number for free international call, it basically costs more than the actual per minute call to oversea on my calling call.
