I have a timeport 2000 pager right now, (7230 in the mail) my question is can I set up folders on the bb and have messages go into those filters with different alert levels.
Right now some mail I want, but do not care when it comes in. Some I want to know about and others I must get notification of.
On the tp2000 I can set up message rules that allow no alert, single beep, or obnixious tones for different rules. The rules also allow me to file these messages in different folders.
please tell me the bb does this...I dont see it in the book

I'll be using tmobiles bwc with the 7230 when it arrives.

Sorry. I don't believe this is an option. There is no way to set different alert levels other than the different types of messages. PIN, SMS, Email, etc. Although maybe it could be a possibility in the new OS release? But as of 3.7 it can not be done.

I figured since the wait for a reply was so long I was in for this answer.

Oh well the good outweigh this.

You can do different levels of email alerts by alerting only on high priority messages, and configuring the BWC to automatically escalate certain messages matching an email filter. So, you can, indirectly have customizable alerts for specific email messages.
