Displaying Older Messages on BB?

I have a new user we just brought online whos Exchange mailbox has a lot of older mail in it. Upon initial connection, he has 5 days worth of messages displayed. Is there any way for us to trigger getting older messages into his BB inbox?

I think 7 days is the max
