Default Help, help, please help..... Redirector

Please Login to Remove!

This is the error I get whenever I start the redirector......

I've gone through everything I can think of... uninstalled (including regedit), REFORMATTED my machine, updates, everything same error.

This only started after I moved up to Office 2000. I can't tell you how much I hate MS!

My Blackberry is useless if I cant get email on it. I've attached a pic of the error.

I hope someone has the answer I need.

Larry

Have you downloaded and installed the latest version of the Desktop Manager? It is available from the RIM BlackBerry support web site.

Make sure that Outlook was installed as the enterprise version and not the internet edition.

Using redirector, I wouldn't go directly to 4.0 desktop manager, I'd stick with 3.6 sp3a...this version does a WAY better job at the encryption keys with redirector.

Can you go back to whatever other version of Office you were using? or upgrade to XP or 2003?

The redirector immediately makes an MS Exchange API call when it starts, and if you are not already connected to an Exchange server successsfully through Outlook, then it will crash like this. Make sure that Outlook is already configured properly, and that you have an Exchange account that you can access before you start the redirector.

?? I almost never have Outlook running when I start Redirector, and it never has a problem. In fact, since I run Redirector on a remote machine, I never even have Outlook running on that computer at all.

As someone else suggested, I'd try an older version of BB Desktop.
