Can I buy the Telus / Mike 7520 and simply put my sim card from my 7510 in and it will work? or do I have to let Telus charge me $$$$$ to set it up?

There shouldn't be a sim difference. The 7520 is the 7510 but color, photos and bluetooth...

I understand that but what about initial set-up? is there anything they need to do to activate it on the Rim Network or is everything stored on the SIM Card.

The SIM will work just fine assuming that the carrier your buying from is the carrier you use normally. If not then there may be a subsidy lock in place to prevent it.

As far as setup you would need to contact the carrier to add the PIN tot there database if its a different carrier) nad you will need to change the PIN seeting in the Wbe Client or contact your BES admin and let them knwo.
