Beta software sent to those that applied. Thanks for your help.

Could releasing a product on April Fools Day be a bad idea?

We've had a great response to the beta offer. Unfortunately, BlackberryForums.com did such a good job of communicating the 4.0 release, we did not get one 3.6 or 3.7 applicant.

At this point we'd like to close the beta to 4.0 users, but will continue to welcome 3.6 and 3.7 users.

This was the second beta phase, so bbSpell is very close to release. More details soon!

Thanks,
jeff

Thumbs up greatness

I have been using bbspell and I think it is a great addition to the blackberry it makes it easy for people that can't spell to well. It is worth the purchase if you can't spell or if you think you can spell but run into those 8 syllable words that just stump you you need this. I personally use it with every email I type because I use it for business and it makes you loose credibility if you can't spell. So I give it 2 thumbs up

Looks like we'll need to do a grammar checker next so you don't loose any more credibility Thanks for the kind words! I've been so aware of my own communications since this project as I know how much fun folks will have in pointing out my errors. Still haven't spell checked the string resources in bbSpell...
