I did some upgrades to my desktop. First of all I upgraded to XP Pro and Office 2003.
I have a 7290 with 4 OS and I have installed and uninstalled Desktop several times.

When I connect my BB to the Desktop it immediately go from connected to Working but as far as I can tell it isn't doing anything. I have let it sit like that for as long as 2 hours with no change.

Is there somewhere on the BB that I can stop a current sync?

What else can I do.

You can unplug the handheld to stop the synchronization - if the Desktop Manager still remains in a locked state, just kill the task in Task Manager.

As for fixing this issue, there are several steps you can take to attempt to fix it. If you click on the Search function up top and type in 'Destkop Working', I'm sure you'll find a few threads that were posted in the last few weeks that have those steps outlined, in detail.
