Default 7520 KeyPad MOD **EASY**

Please Login to Remove!

Not Sure if this is the right place to post this, but I thought I woukd share this with you all... I was Playing with the Blackberry 7520 today and wanted to do something different, so I did a Keypad MOD.

First, Take out the (6) T-6 Screws on the Backside of the BB

Second, Pry the inside clips apart at the Locations Highlighted.

Third, After the top and bottom cases are off, take the clear plastic part off the keypad part of the board. It Holds the (2) White LED's so be careful when you take it out. You will notice the + and - Plastic Tabs that go under the contacts of the big LCD. When you get it out color it any Color you want with a Shaprie. I did RED.

Fourth, Color the White plastic on the board the same color. I did RED again.

When you are done, both parts will look like this.

I took this sticker off mine, It made things a little brighter. Also may want to color the tip of the LED.

When you put it back together it look like this. ENJOY!!

Not bad, aside from the deconstruction possibly, I assume this would work on near any model blackberry or work with near any color you'd like to choose.

Yup, I posted this on HoFo when I did it and have had several people tell me that they have done it with many different colors and even faded to 2 or 3 colors. Not a truely indepth mod, but something different.

Here's some new pics...
