I will be traveling through Italy in the next month (I Am Canadian!!!) & have several questions regarding PrePaid SIM Cards. I have an unlocked Blackberry 7100t & would like advice on the following:

Procedures & documentation that is required to purchase a prepaid SIM in Italy
I understand that a "Codice Fiscale" is required - I have completed the form on-line & printed it - so now all I have to do is present it to the clerk
Best company for coverage & reliability (phone, SMS & e-mail)
Where to purchase this card in the Rome Fiumicino Airport
Any other advice in this matter of staying linked with family/friend would be appreciated
