Default Quick help connecting pearl/8100 to holux 240 bluetooth gps device

Please Login to Remove!

I just received the holux 240 gps receiver in the mail. It comes with very little instructions however, it looks very straightforward. I have one issue which I cannot find mentioned anywhere in the instructions, when I turn on the gps receiver and my pearl to look for bluetooth devices, and the phone says "enter numeric passkey". I try entering 1111 or 2222 and it just says failed to connect to device?? Does anyone know what numbers I need to put there? I see no mention of this in the instructions. Thanks for any help in advance

Sweet ! Thank you guys !

Just curious, what made you try out 0000 when you first got yours ? Or is that like "the known number" when it comes to connecting bluetooth devices.

I believe it was hidden in the documentation somewhere. But all the bluetooth devices I have used have been 0000.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8100/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

0000 is it and it says it obscurely in the manual. I also got one and it keeps on telling me my signal is too weak so I am not able to find my position. Any ideas?
