Default Blackberry provider with service in Anchorage

Please Login to Remove!

Does anyone know of a provider that has good data service in Anchorage Alaska, as well as at least major cities in Canada, Minnesota, Oklahoma and cities of Houston, Spokane, L.A? I'm mostly concerned with Alaska, Canada and Minnesota as I'm sure cell coverage is excellent for most major carriers in L.A. This is for an attorney based out of Charleston, WV so service there would be nice, but he is mostly concerned with travel.

By Cingular's Maps, they do have coverage in Anchorage.
Might call them for help

When in Anchorage last November, my T-Mobile 7230 roamed on two different local GSM carriers for voice only - no data. Voice coverage was adequate in and around Anchorage, Glen River, Palmer, Wasilla. Didn't try it elsewhere on this trip.

I found this website that might be helpful. http://www.aitp-ak.org/detailed-sched.htm

Thanks. I've gotten conflicting info from Cingular. On one part of their site I put in zip codes for Anchorage, and it said no service. I called my rep and she couldn't find if they did service the area, but other sites I've seen mention them as a carrier.

Cellular One from Dobson Communications http://www.celloneusa.com.

Rates are high, but its the only game in town. (Anchorage, AK)

Cheers

We are deploying devices in Anchorage from Dobson. I know they work in Oklahoma as well. Not sure about the other sites.

Just back from a week in Anchorage and my Cinular Blackberry maintained perfect coverage. I'm sure it was roaming somehow but Cingular never tells when it does that.
