Default Simple Text Editor for BB?

Please Login to Remove!

Is there a simple text editor for the BB? I searched but only found eWord and $59.95 seems a bit steep for such a simple app. I want to be able to either edit or create text files and then save or email them. I don't need fancy formatting.
Basically I want notepad for the BB.

Dan

I think the QuickNote will be a good option. Search on this board and you'll find a link to it, I can't remember where.

Best thing about it is that it automatically captures (copies) your text as you type and you just simply exit the application and go to something like e-mail compose and click to paste and your text is there...

I'll try that, but the problem is that I have a large amount of data in the clipboard currently that I want to paste into an editor. It is too much for an email (clips off half of it)

Will quicknote work?

Try it and see, it's free, written by one of the guys on the board here, Mark Rejohn. Look here for the link and further info...

Another option would be to turn it into a Mobireader book with the free converter they have.

Thanks for the ideas and replies. I ended up installing eWord but it choked on the amount of data and ended up with a line buffer overflow. I had to reboot the bb and ended up losing the data.

Does anyone know the line limit or KB limit for an email composed on the BB?
