Default hotmail calendar and BB software

Please Login to Remove!

How can I get my hotmail calendar information into my 8703e BB? I have tried to do this through Outlook, but I can't find the file with my data? I have gone into Synch settings and have selected Calendar and selected the outlook application.

I have then gone into the "choose calendar folder" and I have 2 choices.
personal folders\calendar and archive folders\calendar. Neither of these files have any data within.

By looking at my Outlook application, I can show several calendars - the 2 mentioned above as well as my hotmail calendar. How do I get this hotmail calendar into my BB? I am stuck!

I am still hoping for some help on this. I have made a little progress. My Outlook 2003 holds a few different files - a Personal file, an Archive files and these are both on the desktop. My Outlook also has a "hotmail file" that appears to be a reflection of everything that is in my hotmail account.

When I connect my BB, I can only choose to synch to the Personal or Archive file. However, the hotmail file is the one that I want to get intomy BB. I have can export my data from the hotmail file within Outlook and import the file into the Personal file and then synchronize.

Is there a better way?

I had a free hotmail for the past 10 years and then signed up for the MSN software. The hotmail is read within MSN Premium software and this is the calendar location. So technically, I guess that this is a MSN calendar. However, the calendar file is still called hotmail.

I am an MSN Premium subscriber and have been unsuccessful in accessing my calendar as well. I have tried going through hotmail as well. I am unwilling to give up my MSN account as their spam filter works great for me. I hate to give up my BBerry and go to a Treo. Any thoughts?

Gmail! I am so used to hotmail like you, but gmail is the answer to your problems. I have both accounts, but it's just a matter of time before I completely leave hotmail.

Glad to see that this thread has not died. I did figure something out, but it is a bit clunky. I open outlook and see my MSN calander. I export the calander data file each weekend. I then import this into the Personal file (this will synch with my BB). So until another solution is figured out, this is my go forward plan.
