Default No longer syncing Outlook contacts, tasks, notes

Hi folks,

When work first gave me my BB 7290, everything in Outlook sync'd properly with it. But for the last few weeks, Email and Calendar syncing still works, but nothing is syncing for Contacts, Tasks, and Notes. New or changed items on the BB or in Outlook don't change on the other.

Before I go to our IT group (they're VERY slow) to see if they've changed anything, perhaps someone knows what might be wrong here? Is there something I might have done on my BB or in Outlook to cause this?

Unless you changed options in the DT manager I would go to IT. they may have upgraded the server you are on and forgot a few options. I had the same issue when some others in my company did not. We discovered they added many more servers to cover the new users and missed some of the options.
Before calling , still check your options to see if they changed

Hey as an IT person I resent that comment that you made about IT being slow. You know it's not that we are slow, it's just that you end users are too fast Just kidding with you

sounds like a corrupt MAPI (Outlook) profile. Try creating a new one and see if it works (and if you use outlook 2003 w/ exchange, disable cached exchange mode). I've seen this many times, and making a new profile fixed it.

Aha! That was it. Disabling cached exchange mode solved the problem.
