Default Folder Redirection - No checkboxes???

Please Login to Remove!

I am using the Blackberry Desktop Manager version 4.2.0.10 and i am not using any BES server. Its just an XP box with Outlook running all the time.

Under "Email Settings" -> "Advanced" -> "Folder Redirection" i want to choose a folder other than Inbox. so i click on 'Selected folders' and then click the 'Choose Folders..." button.

Problem is..i see all the folders but there are no checkboxes. So i can't select anything. It looks like a list of my subfolders with a dotted line connecting them but the checkboxes are missing.

I have searched forever and found nothing on this problem. I have uninstalled and re-installed the software with no success. Its weird. Its has never worked with any previous version of Desktop Manager either.

Any ideas?

You can't use the filters in Desktop Manager unless you're on BES. You need to log on to your carrier's BIS site and adjust the filters for the proper account there.

If you're on BIS, your folders and rules shouldn't matter anyway since BIS pulls email from the server and doesn't know about your rules and folders in Outlook (unless maybe you're on Exchange).

Maybe i should clarify, i am running the desktop redirector so all my emails are sent to my blackberry. I'm not using my carriers method of sending mail to my blackberry because they only push at 15 minute intervals. With the redirector i get them every 2-3 minutes. But my anti-spam filter doesn't have time to filter the emails before the redirector forwards them.

I have already tried the registry fix of 'ProcessMailDelay' but that doesnt work either.

so if i could have the redirector monitor a different folder it would solve the problem.
